HavLab was set up to satisfy CoreMarine's need to test and prototype in-house technology. We also welcome the opportunity to offer this site for your ocean testing requirements.

Owing to the fact that the area receives some of the largest swells in Norway, the location was identified by Asplan Viak in 2009 as being perfectly suited to testing of marine renewable energy systems and other marine technology. Since then, the area has sat idle... 

In association with and support from Farsund Kommune, we have been able to assign an area for CoreMarine.
